roses, orange blossom, wax flower are some of my favorites
Some people love the scent of lillies but others think they stick so watch out on those.

Evening scented stock, heliotrope, sweet allysum, some types of pansies, like the giant ones, some lilies, peonies(the old fashioned type) lilics, honeysuckle, david austen roses,to start

Beautiful scent is very dependable of what you like. Personally I like lavander and gardenia.

For cut floweers from the florist, tube roses and star lily. For heavenly scents on a summer patio, gardenia (can’t survive below 55 degrees F at night) & jasmine (can winter over in a couple of freezing cold snaps in the temperate climates (Seattle), but probably not outside in Chicago).

There are several different types. The strongest and most fragrant is the moon flower that only blooms from 5pm until about noon the next day. Go to a web sites on plants, which they are MANY good ones, and look for plants by scents. I have many plants that smell good such as lavender, roses, magnolias, etc. Also try herbs. They are very fragrant, usually more so than floral plants. I love to smell the fresh thyme, spearmint, rosemary, etc. Also, go to a greenhouse and sniff around. It’s free and you can get the ones you like best.

Lavender, honeysuckle, basically anything that would attract bees and butterflies.

You have to be more specific in asking a question like this. Do you want flowers with beautiful scent to add in a bouquet or basket to be delivered to someone, or do you want to plant them in your garden. Or perhaps you may want to start a line of perfumes and are doing some research for beautifully scented flowers that people like or to discover some of these flowers from others. Or perhaps you may want to wear them in your hair if you are a female to to give to a friend as a pot-pourri. Maybe you could be helping your child to do his homework and he has to have a list of names of nice scented flowers for his assignment.
It is difficult to help when I do not know where you are from as different countries and different parts of the world have different species of flowers. In my part of the world, I would recommend the jasmine, the gardenia and the frangipani.

One flower that has a beautiful scent are the roses or sunflowers, but the best smelling roses are the candy cane roses.

White flowers generally have strong and beautiful scents. Hyacinthus, white lilacs, white lilies, Jasmin.
I also like the lightness and reshness of stockflowers and freesias, whatever the colour is, their scent is refined and light.

There is nothing like sweet lavender.

i lke lilacs the best. but roses are nice, too.

My favorite is the stargazer or rubrum lily. One flower can scent two or more rooms. Just be careful of the pollen because it stains things orange and is hard to remove. This a flower for the interior. For the exterior it is hard to beat gardenia or magnolia. Much depends on where you live . Check a local garden center.

Also, one person’s fragrance can be anothers person’s stink-flowers, that is.
