Approximately three weeks from now, the flower shops will once again flocked men and boys of all ages, taking only the best for the number one woman in our lives: our mothers and wives. Next to Christmas and the ever popular Valentine Mother's Day is one of the most widely hall celebrated around the world. The American tradition of honoring mothers on the second Sunday May has only begun to 9 May 1914 by the efforts of Julia Ward Howe (wrote a Mother's Day Proclamation as a call for peace and disarmament in 1870), Ann Jarvis (tried to improve sanitation through what she calls workdays mothers in 1858), and Anna Jarvis (daughter of the aforementioned, also launched a movement to impose a memorial day for women in 1907).
Shopping for Mother's Day has never been easier these days where everything is available in shopping malls or even online. Florists have hundreds of arrangements and gift suggestions for the gift giver confused. Begin your selection with an exquisite or bizarre (whatever fits the personality of his mother) vase.
