How often a new shoot grow from the bottom of a rose?
I had bought some roses from Walmart about 2 years ago only had 2 shooting from the bottom of the plant. How can I get more to grow? How many times to grow new ones?
My roses get pruned every spring and cutting cane put out many new branches. Are your roses to grow strongly? Should be several feet high if it is two years old. If you are not growing as fast as it should, something is wrong with the soil, the amount of water, or perhaps needs a pesticide spraying. If pruned roses, you can start hitting more cuts on the floor with at least two buds below ground and one or more buds above the ground. Keep the cutting moist and in a couple of months, Bush will have a new Rose. However, a rose began a court has a tendency to spread from the roots and new shoots to send Rose out of the jungle. No more 12 inches, but will not be compact as a stump close its store of purchase rose grafted on a wild rose roots.
