Care for Roses
Growing roses can be an exhilarating experience, if you know how to care for your roses. Timely pruning, fertilizing and spraying can facilitate their work in large measure, so that you do not have to worry about pests and diseases.
One of the main points to consider when taking care of your rose plants is that need the right amount of water. Too much or too little watering can kill the roses. Excess water can leave the shallow roots which makes them unable to absorb essential nutrients and to develop a strong root system. Shallow watering can encourage fungal growth, both deep watering is preferred. The leaves also need to remain dry or they will be affected by disease.

Fertilization is essential for good flowering. The level of soil pH must be maintained from 6.0 to 6.5 and checked regularly.
Choosing the right place at the garden is also essential that your roses need adequate sunlight for at least six hours a day.
Spraying drugs appropriate sheets ensures that insects do not kill your roses. This will prevent the growth of mold, rust, black spot and other diseases that attack, including the hardiest of plants.
Do not let weeds grow around rose plants and thus deprive them of their beauty and essential nutrients. Mulching or adding organic matter around the roses is the best way to accomplish this.
Pruning and trimming the rose bushes at the right time will ensure roses that bloom into beautiful flowers in full. This should be done at the end of the winter season. Pruning should be done as little as possible and not to the ground. Dead flowers also should be cut. Crossing canes, thin stems and dead wood should also be cleaned.
In the winter months, cover the floor next to your roses with mulch to prevent the roots from freezing. There are many ways to protect your roses in winter. Check with your local rose nursery in the best way to do it.
