Deliver Rose

The first day of school our professor introduced himself and challenged us to meet someone who did not already know. I stood up to look around when a gentle hand touched my shoulder.
I turned to find a wrinkled little old lady smiling at me with a smile that lit up her entire being.
She said: "Hi, handsome. My name is Rosa. I'm eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug? "I laughed and enthusiastically responded," Of course you can! "And she gave me a big hug.
"Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?" I asked. She jokingly replied, " I'm here to meet a rich husband, get married, have a couple of kids, and then retire and travel. " No, seriously, "I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to take on this challenge at her age.
"I always dreamed of having a college education and now I'm getting one!" He said.
After class we walked to the building of the student association and shared a chocolate milkshake. We became instant friends. Every day for three months after we left class together and talk nonstop. I am always mesmerized listening to this "time machine" as she shared their wisdom and experience with me.
During the year, Rose became very popular in college and made friends wherever she went. She loved to dress up and she reveled in the attention he received from other students. He was living it.
At the end of the semester invited Rose to speak at our banquet football. I will never forget what she taught us. She was introduced and stepped up to the podium. When it began to offer her prepared speech, she dropped her three by five cards on the floor. Frustrated and a little embarrassed she leaned into the microphone and simply said: "I feel I'm so jittery. I gave up beer for Lent and this whiskey is killing me! I'll never get my speech in order so let me just say
I know. "
As we laughed, she cleared her throat and began: "Do not stop playing because we are old, we grow old because we stop playing. There are only four secrets to staying young, be happy and succeed. "You have to laugh and find humor every day. You have to have a dream. When you lose your dreams, you die. We have so many people walking around that are Dean and not even know! "
"There is a huge difference between growing older and growing. If you have the age of nineteen and in bed for a full year and do nothing productive, which in turn twenty years. If I am eighty-seven years and bedridden for a year without doing anything I will turn eighty eight. Anybody can grow older. He has no talent or ability. The idea is to grow forever
finding opportunity in change. "
"No regret. Older people generally do not have regrets for what we did, but things did not. The only people who fear death are those with regrets. "She concluded her speech by courageously singing The Rose. She
challenged each of us to study the lyrics and live them in our daily lives. At years end Rose finished the degree of college had started many years ago.
One week after graduation Rose died peacefully in his sleep. Over two thousand students university attended her funeral in tribute to the wonderful woman who taught by example that it is never too late to be all they can be.
If you read this, please send the peaceful word of advice to his demons and family. We send these words in memory of Rose.
Remember, growing older is obligatory, Growing up is OPTIONAL.
There are many messages in this story:
– You'll never old to learn
– Always pursue your dreams, you're never old to establish their goals and achieve their dreams,
– Laugh and find humor in everyday life,
– Find opportunities in change, especially in today's world where change is is moving at a fast pace, do not let change overwhelm you, let change help you find opportunities you never seen!
– I do not regret
– Your story is so true, so many people use words like "if only"
"Desire", "I can not", etc.
Do you have a dream, a wish, then make it a goal today – break down, take a step, then another and achieve his dream.
