Planting Roses
Someone took my newly planted roses mini with a weed eater. Will they grow back?
The roses were fairly new (never have blossomed) I think. It is not 1/2-1 inches of stem left out of the ground.I'm not sure what variety of mini roses were. Planting flowers is an interest new to me and these were the first roses I planted flowers and cut them ruined my newly found interest in the flowers. : (
While the roots are still in the ground to be back. The roots are all that counts. Many people prune their roses to the ground so that its bushes only new growth. The roses are very resilient. I dug up a rose and moved across the yard, and two years later, a mother has little shot of the earth from which was dug up two years ago. Call back, rose to new stems each year, the mines are doing now. PS the flowers should be cut after they have bloomed in the stem just above where a small stem with 5 leaves on it. A new outbreak stemmed out of that place.
