Need to preserve a special flower cake?
My kids just your grandmother a cake with flowers. I like to be able to preserve so you can keep, as it is adorable. It is made with small flowers in the form of a birthday cake. You can see what appears at www.1-800-flowers.com. Does anyone know the best way to preserve something like this? I heard spraying it with hairspray, but this is also something we can not hang upside down or anything to dry. Any ideas? My stepdaughter also received a bouquet of flowers for Valentine's Day that he wants to preserve, but can not be hung upside down.
There are a silicone spray you can buy in the arts and craft stores, Michaels is, Joanne (including on-line). That is the best route to take for the cake and flowers as in step daughers.
